miffy :(

last monday while driving to wyomissing, my driver side tire blew out and i hit the median while on 422w. traumatic, dramatic, frustrating. definitely not the best way to start off the week. miffy is currently at a vw dealership in leesport, pa. per discussion with one of the "service consultants," her control arm is damaged.. suspension's messed up.. radiator's messed up.. transmission pan and coolant are all damaged.. not to mention the wheel and tire are done.

estimated cost of repair: at least $2,500. wonderful. :\

tomorrow i'm going to give the insurance a call to see what's the status.. hopefully i won't have to pay more than my deductible.. luckily i was able to only walk away from this with about 8 or 9 (huge) bruises. i started feeling this nagging pain in my lower neck area since thursday.. and suzie and wilbur think i should see a chiropractor about it. sigh. more problems. :(

so that was monday.
tuesday i flew to boston for the day for sox walkthroughs.
wednesday i was back in wyomissing.
thursday i was in philly.
friday back in wyomissing.

daddy wants me to either sell or trade miffy in for another car. i love her, but.. i've put about almost $6k of damage on a $18k car in less than 3 years.. granted 2 of the 3 accidents were due to stupidity on my part, but i don't know if i really want a new car. he's superstitious that she's bad luck now.. i wouldn't even know what to get. daddy wants me to get a lexus or a bmw.. i wouldn't mind one, but honestly, i'm not sure if now's the right time. if i quit working at deloitte, i won't have a source of income to pay for a new car. if i keep working at deloitte, i'll continue to drive 700 miles a week, and i don't want to put all that mileage on a new car. :\

sigh. miffy.. my little rabbit. what should i do? :T
